Marie's Italian Kitchen
Is located in the southern end of Sarasota County in a shopping center at the corner of Beneva and Clark Roads on the actual corner is a large Goodyear Tire Store so we say we are behind Goodyear Tire.

  You will see them before you see us.

  If you are traveling on Interstate 75 the exit is 205 we are only 3 miles on Clark Road heading west which is the street you exit onto.

  Marie's Italian Kitchen opened in September 1997 it is owned by Marie Wells (nee Piacente) who oversees the dining room and Bill Wells who is the chef.
Just for general information this is the couples second career the first being Wells Graphics, which they built into the largest   Typesetting and Graphics business in Brooklyn,N.Y.. they operated that for 20 years.

O.K. so now they want to do this food thing ...not exactly.
  Bill has a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management and for seven years operated two pizzerias and planned menus for a catering service in New York City.
  After retiring from the graphics business they opened
The Stonebridge Inn an 88 seat restaurant with 15 rental rooms in East Durham, New York. After 10 years of operation they sold the Inn and choose Sarasota to take it a little easy.

  That take it easy stuff lasted about three months and the couple opened Marie's Italian Kitchen some things don't have real explanations.
